If you advertise your business as "the best gym" then act like it as well. The gym overall is OK, been a member for more than two years, but the finance team is incompetent! I asked for a partial refund on my full prepaid membership due to relocation and was required to send a PROOF of my relocation (a new lease contract, utility bills, etc) which is the ILLEGAL requirement and NOT written in a membership agreement! They denied the refund even through the contract says that it can be cancelled at any point of time with no reason. So much for "continue to work with the member", right? It has been more than 6 weeks since my cancellation inquiry has been unresolved. Also, no one has given me the argumentation of the legality of the request to submit the relocation documentation which is not written in the contract, but they still demand to submit it just because they "feel it is not too much to ask". At this point, the billing company "points fingers" to the owner, and the owner ignores my requests. Even after submitting a charge back, I still have been trying to collect my money, but no one has replied to my requests or answered my direct questions. Up to date, neither the billing company nor the LAC owner have reached out to me to settle my inquiry, not even saying about issuing the partial refund. Quick update on my one star review form 8/7/20. If you’re on the fence about getting a membership here, DO IT! You won’t regret your choice! helped me stay healthy and connected to my community through the ups and downs of the global pandemic. The beer on tap and complimentary coffee make it feel like not only a gym, but a place to kick back and relax after a long day.L.A.C. He made sure to prioritize his staff and club members’ well-being during the quarantine, keeping the business afloat and staff employed so we had a community to come back to once it was safe.On top of that, the hot tub, steam room and sauna always help me unwind after a strenuous workout. Nick, the owner, is a personable and down-to-earth business owner who genuinely cares about his staff and his customers. since 2019 and have stuck around because the staff make you feel so welcomed and at home here! They treat you like a community member, rather than just another faceless name like at a bigger corporate gym.Though the fees may be a little bit higher than at some other places, you get the satisfaction of supporting a local business that gives back to the community. I never would have imagined working out on my own in a weight room, but after a few sessions with Chase felt super comfortable being on my own in between our sessions. Personally, as a beginner, she made the gym approachable, fun, and safe. I would truly recommend her to anyone looking for some personal 1-on-1 time, no matter your skill level. You can tell that she works with clients that are beginner to super advanced and is versatile to anyone needs. I was able to focus on so much with her and I learned a lot as well. She's super flexible and met me where I was for each session, helping me reassess each time what I needed and what type of movement/exercise would help get me where I wanted to go. She was incredible - I had a hard time getting back into moving my body and finding a workout routine after the pandemic and she helped me break out of that. I belonged to the Lloyd Athletic Club in 2022 and worked specifically with Chase, a personal trainer.
